Just got it this morning, had to go to the career fair earlier so im just starting to play with it now.

Everything works fine and i got the original box with it from dynamism.com but not the backup CDs.

Im still trying to get use to the keyboard, its so small!!

They can send the CDs to you for free if you send an email to them.

Since I did not get the English backup CDs with the package either, I wrote them an email, and got my CDs in the second or third day. They even used overnight shipping! And totally free of charge. :D

anyone notice that the top cover of the x505 is alittle bit bent. Imean its not exactly perfectly flat.

Maybe it’s my eyesite, but mine looks pretty straight…

mine seems “bent” too…
a few video reviews i watched made closing the case seem really uneven, too… i think it’s normal.

i’m really anxious to find out if mine is bent. i should be receiving it today or tomorrow. i keep checking the tracking page on DHL to when it arrives.

after i close the case, it is perfectly flat. i’ve seen a few on ebay or yahoo japan auctions where part of the lid wasn’t perfectly flat. mine does seem to be a degree or so further down on one side, but i really don’t notice it at all unless i stare for it. i think it’s normal.

Mine maybe is not exactly perfectly flat, but looks very straight. By the way, everytime when I close the lid, I am very careful not to bent it. I always use two hand to close it.

Its not really bent but its noticable, I think I read another thread where someone mention that the lid would not close as tightly on the right side compared to the left. I think the safest thing to do is to open the lid from both sides coz this thing is freaking thin.
