Right, I’ve been saving up for the perfect PDA for quite sometime now and im ready now to knock my pocket.

I need to know which ones the best. I’ve been looking at the HP Ipaq RX3715 Handheld and basically i need my PDA to have the following functions…

Wireless LAN, ability to play divx files (this is important coz im looking to play videos on the move) , BT/IR and Microsoft windows as its OS ( Though i prefer this to other OSes, i’m not stuck up) .

Honestly, if your not going PalmOS, I’d go Dell. 640x480, WiFi, BT, CF + MMC and with coupon you can pick it up at a decent price.

I dislike PPC very much, and to tell you the truth, if I didn’t need a phone, this might be my PDA.

Fujitsi Siemans Loox 720 does it all. Nice looking and smaller than HP’s equivalent. Takes CF & SD, only gripe is the stylus is a bit fragile and it can sometimes be a pain to take out the CF card.

Personally i’m a PalmOS user, but there hasn’t been a single interesting POS device in the last year or two.  I mean wasn’t Cobalt supposed to be out in 2004?  Anyways, if theres one PPC that would make me want to switch, its the MDA IV:

As Erik suggested I’ve been looking at Dell. But the customer support apparently is aweful. Also the X50V is on the heavier side.

Sony is out because the expense of the storage media takes the piss.

Also HP and Fujitsu Siemens both seem to be good Handhelds…. Both of which have their flaws but i guess thats just with most things then.

I like the fujitsu siemens design and im also going to check out the toshiba e830 soon.
