I am currently shopping for a sony x505 and most of the reliable place to buy them are out of stock like newegg.com. Does anyone know where I can get them?

For people who bought it from dynamism.com or icube.us, how long did it take for the notebook to shipped?

I got mine from iCube. I asked them to overnight it, which they did. The price was reasonable for overnight shipping IMO.

I can’t speak for any other company, but iCube always goes above and beyond IMO.

Someone else here complained that Dymanism didn’t include the Sony Box or original restore dics, so if thats important to you, I suggest you ask them for it.

As far as reliability goes, read a few user reviews.

I got my CP from http://www.dynamism.com/. They have excellent customer service. And be sure to ask if there is any possibility to get a discount. Last time, I got $100 off. And the shipping is the fastest. If you order today, you will get it tommorrow morning. They reinstalled all softwares and drivers in English version. The package I got had no scratch, no dead pixels.

So which model did you go with?

I went for the x505/cp, it was price at $2799. The guy that handle the order was Jason, he seems nice and polite. Just hope that the order gets here nex week :drool:

Believe me I would be VERY nice if I sold you something like that for $2800… but believe me it is worth it.

Hey, did anyone else get the CF look Memory Stick holder? Nobody else has mentioned it yet and its not listed as an accessory from Sony…I am curious if they throw it in afterwards or not.

I tried asking for it but he said he could only offered it if I bought more than one unit. But it might just have been my weak negotiating skills plus my over eagerness to get the item :oops:

Did you get the sony wireless card or did you buy another brand?

It should have come with the B/G card free.

No, my CP did not come with the wireless card. I use another brand I bought from staples. It works fine, but looks stupid big.  :(

I also checked the Japanese website, but I just could not understand why sony left the wireless card out in CP package…..
