[quote author=“darek”]The problem I have is that I currently use the wifi from a local business in my home, the reason I dont actually have a real connection is due to not knowing how long I’ll be here. Anyhow the only spot in the house that I am able to get a good connection is in the NorthWest corner of my apartment, in the dining room. Which has been fine for now but my S needs to roam freely where ever it want to. So my question is this: can I hookup an adapter such as http://www.netgear.com/products/details/WGE111.php to my router which is a WGT624 and use it to expand the network into my home. I just want to use the game adapter as a LAN line into the router and then re-route the signal locally. Is this at all possible or am I stuck in the dining room?
Thanks for any help with this.

I’m no expert, but I hope this helps
Your two best options are probably to either get a wifi repeater or a wifi bridge. “Game adapters” are basically just bridges. Hook the bridge up to your router, put it in router mode (not gateway) and turn its dhcp server off. By the way, hopefully the business knows you are using their wifi cloud. Even if a wifi cloud is unencrypted, using it may constitute trespass (especially in the case of businesses, which could be held liable if you were to hypothetically do something illegal on their connection).
