TR losing it’s appeal?

This afternoon there were two TR1MP’s for sale on Ebay.
1 went for £670 the other for £700, only last week they were fetching nearly £900.

Ebay is like that, many factors play a role in how much things sell for. I think 700 is more then enough for a TR1…whoever got 900 should be jumping up and down…

Most TR1’s in the US go for under $1,200 USD…unless they have a lot of accessories.

Aw man, guess I’ll not be selling mine now if they’re that cheap. I really wanted to sell it a while back to justify the purchase of my S, but I still use my TR for music (and civ3) as it’s just so damn portable..

The more I use the TR, the more I am hesitant to go with a screen any smaller.  I am so torn that I am tempted to go with a two gadget setup.  This of course ruins my theology of keeping things both simple and efficient.  The battery times of the ‘U’ are very disappointing for me to spend the money right now.  If I had no laptop today I would be looking at 10-12” hybrid tablets with a keyboard.

As for now, I anxiously wait. :(
