[quote author=“Archival”][quote author=“Mighty Matt”]Well I’m now beginning to convince myself that my wireless card is dying on me as it’s only connecting at 5.5mbs to my Uni router, even when I’m in the same room as it.
Also the connection just stops for ages. It doesn’t die, but if I watch the connection through Task Manager it sits at 0% a lot of the time when trying to transfer stuff…
Only problem is now that I’ve failed to find anywhere in the uk which sells the 3B cards. I was going to just get a 2200 and upgrade at the same time
Probably your access point.. have you recently purchased a cordless phone that operates at 2.4Ghz? if yes, it’s a conflict right there tyr adjusting your channel to number 10 or 11.. and if not last thing you can do is backup your stuff and restore everyting.. hehe at least somethign for you to do since your exam is done and hoping you’re not that busy.. so at least you’ll know who the real culprit is, and probably some programs you’ve installed recently affected it or worst part is that it really is dying..
Well that’s the thing, nothing else has changed and no other computer in the house is having any problems. Which leads me to suggest a problem with the card…
Still no luck finding a replacement in the UK :(
