I can’t decide whether to love or hate Homaro Cantu . I love innovative applications of technology, but I don’t know about using superconductors and liquid nitrogen, class 4 lasers or hand-held particle guns on my food…

Since I am only a few hours away (when I read about this earlier on engadget) I planned a trip to Chicago to try it first-hand. I’ll be happy to report back in 2 weeks when I go.

Insane! Makes me think of that eposide of the Flintstones where they travel into the future; they enter a restaurant and order steak and such, but get served small pills on large plates—and the next scene is them walking out, stuffed.
