I’ve been off the board for awhile and it seems things have slowed way down. Last summer posts were coming up so fast that the “last five posts” field was completely cycling out after about 20 minutes (rough guess). Now it looks like it takes 12 hours to see five new posts.
Is the TR fading into history, or has every atom of the TR been discussed to death? :?
no my brother sir your judgments are atleast ill founded. we are here pretty much just juggling with our lives trying to make a decent living out of our tattered but unfazed minds.
i agree with you. when i joined in the summer. i would look at posts all the time. now, i just check in once every 1-2 days or so.
hopefully, sony will continue to innovate and push the envelope with its laptops. i can’t wait for the 60GB t’s to come here in the states. i’ll probably get an x505 before they’re completely gone. and i’m always looking forward to the next ultraportable device that sony comes up with.
unfortunately, sony hasn’t done too well with mp3 players or televisions in the past several years. but i can still understand how they can charge a premium on their laptops.
[quote author=“tmkt”][quote author=“Lourenco”]I think that some of the best posters are gone like Daywalker and Chris687. Even Gr00vy0ne himself seem to be gone.
I am just glad I can still count on some of the great like writetovarum, linc, Rahul, Erik, Drachen and OnMyWayUp.
Hope the old member come back and new ones appear so TR World will live forever!!!!
hurt…
i’m so hurt.
tired…
so tired…
and contemplating a move to santa monica

50$ USD to see Harry Potter was a little crazy..

Well right now almost every world currency beats American dollars… Exchange rates suck. Ugh… its gonna be expensive in Germany/Japan…
We dont like the euro here. Too proud to give up sterling, sometimes i think its a good thing but thats a different issue. Anyhow, yes london is expensive. Movie tickets costs a god damn fortune. Travelling around london would cost atleast about 50 $ minimum. :(

I like London..and that dairy milk
But not going back until they get the euro..
Lots of other big cites to visit in Europe that are pretty much half the price because they don’t use the pound..
Dulblin, Paris, Rome, Barcelona..
They switch to the euro..or if that pound drops in price…then I could see myself going back.
