I like this idea: “If your alarm clock, light switch and coffee maker could talk each other via a high-speed connection, mornings might look a lot different.” I oress snooze a lot and the coffee goes off too early ...

I like the idea of this technology… my mom ( who works for Edison [power company]) says she’s been hearing about it but she isnt sure about any plans for it.

The Broadband over Powerline is an extreme upscaling of the Belkin thing.  It uses less powre to send its radio signals over the powerline so it wil reduce radio interference etc. It sucks basically.  :D
I hope BPL quality doesnt turn out to be as horrible as the quality I recieved with a product similar to that Belkin thing a few years back.

It is all going to be old news when wi-max comes out…

WiMax does look nice….cannot wait to have that integrated in my gadgets.

I think I have mentioned it before, but I just luv watching technology evolve. :D
