I few weeks ago i read that article on the Netegriti 802.11a & 802.11b & 802.11g Mini PCI Combo Card that Gr00vyOne wrote, so i looked up on it and did my own installation.. all his details made the install painless and quick. thanks to Gr00vyOne.. well if you notice on the dicount technology site this wireless chip is certified to 108mbs in 802.11A mode… but says nothing about 802.11G mode, well looking more into detail it show that it uses a chip called the (Atheros AR5212, AR5111, AR2111), well i just happend to buy the DLINK- DI-624 which is a 108 mbs router, WHICH USES THE SAME ATHEROS CHIP!, i installed the router, started up my TR1 with the Netegriti wireless adapter and set my setting and noticed my connection under the status connection section is noted at 108mbs, i have another sony latop with a standard wireless G chip from dell true Mobile and it says connected at 54Mbs.. although i havent done any complete tests i can tell you i can open files and media FAST!, anyhow I hope this helps anyone looking for faster that 802.11b.. thanks again to Gr00vyOne…
