Hard drive upgrade

I was hoping to find some topics in Japanese TR forum where they found a way to boost the HD from this 40gb to at least 120. However, I’m unable to find such things. If any of you guys have any info on upgrading the TR hard drive please post!

I have to use my ipod as an external HD just so I can get more stuff…sigh what a pain

also, I wish to change the HD because it have problems lately…..I don’t even wanna begin telling ya’ll about it….too much of a hassle…

This weekend I’ve replaced the 30GB drive in my TR1MP with a 40GB drive from www.span.com here in the UK. Based on informed comment here, I think that’s the largest 1.8” drive available at the moment.

The displaced 30GB drive is now in a neat external USB2 case I got from ebay ( ) to provide a bit more capacity when out-and-about.
