I’m selling my X505/SP (Japanese carbon fiber body model) for $2100 shipped OBO. It was originally purchased from Dynamism for $3000+ in October. This is super cheap and is priced to move. It will come with the following:

Full disclosure:
1) There is an eraserhead-sized dark spot on the screen. It is visible on the solid blue XP “Choose User” screen, but is practically invisible on the desktop and in most apps. Dynamism offers an excellent (and 100% free) warranty service if you want to have it fixed by Sony Japan, but it really isn’t that serious (which is why it hasn’t been done).
2) The Enter key is somewhat sticky. Otherwise, it works fine and registers a button press every single time.
3) Cosmetically, the machine is perfect except for a miniscule nick on the right side of the keyboard half of the unit. It is tiny, but I’m telling you now to be fair The battery has a small 0.5” hairline crack on the right bottom of it. The carbon fiber is completely unblemished.
If the above issues don’t bother you, then you can save a bundle on this laptop.
