hey guys,

i found a very interesting tool Rem boost XP . It helps you to optimize your ram. Sorry but the website as well as the sofware are in french.. but you might find it in english… it is not hard to understand anyway (I can even translate some part…)

So far my Ram problems are gone… i ll let you know how it goes since i have only been unsing it for a few hours…. but i already went 5 times to hibernation…came back without prob…

i think i finally solved my ram problem, houraaaaah :D :D

Since it was not an hardware prob (didn t get no errors with the testing sofwares..) i started looking at the sofwares active in the background…
Apparentrly my booting probs were due to “Mobydock DX”. Because since i stopped using it and i havn t got any reboot… finally i solved the damn thing :D thanks for your advice guys !!!!

And for the others: all the RAM is gone, thanks for asking. Although I was originally selling 2 sticks, I sold 4, since my buddy didn’t end up upgrading, and I stayed at 768 MB instead of doing 1 GB.

Hmmm…. running old video drivers? A much better alternative if you still want a dock is ObjectDock .

EDIT : Ok just done it… so far so good… is there any interessant driver update i could do that might speed up my system? I haven t done any driver update yet…

Yes. I bought a 512MB stick and had problems with blue screens, especially coming out of hibernation. Getting an RMA was pretty painless, but they wanted me to spring for shipping their bad product back to them.  :| Fuckers.
