I am doing lots of presentations lately and I really wanted to have some powerful speakers to enhance the sound quality. However I can´t afford to carry some clunky heavy wooden speakers thru airports.

No one better than you guys to ask for suggestions.

Thanks write. But that is not what I am looking for.
I think the Creature’s Subwoofer part is too big to carry around. I was looking for someting to fit in the same bag with the TR. Think that I´ll be travelling frquently with it.

Found these at Kmart for 19.99.  They come with a little case and snap together and fit nicely in a bag.  The sound is pretty good.

I would like to eventually purchase the following Gen II version because of its ability to plug into the USB port for power and eliminate the need for batteries.

I picked up one a while back. Sound quality fair, volume is moderate. Plastic construction is so-so. Reasonably portable and a vast improvement on the TRs speakers. Picked mine up from buy.com for around $17. Nice for casual listening in a hotel room, etc.

Sonystyle has a bunch of portable speakers including one interesting unit that’s USB powered (albeit with low wattage).
