Decided I would put the BlueSpace NE software on my Sony Vaio desktop PC, as it does a good job on my TR1 MP. The latest Version (3.4) installed ok, however BS NE says BT is switched off on the desktop, this is using a Microsoft Bluetooth Adaptor on the USB port (the one that’s comes bundled with Microsoft’s Bluetooth Mouse).

Will BlueSpace NE work on other PC’s? or is it just for Sony Bluetooth equipped laptops? Any info appreciated guys, can it work?

Its only a Sony Vaio thing. Use the SP2 upgrade to make your Desktop BT efficient.

you need to install the bluetooth vcomm port utility.

Is there a way to install Bluespace onto my s270? I recently purchased a Motorola HS810 bluetooth headset and I would like to use it with my laptop for internet chatting. I have run into the problem that sp2 (which came preinstalled” does not support the headset profile. I would really like to make this work with my setup can anyone please help me out with this. Thanks very much.

Thats interesting. Do you happen to know of any software that does support it that will work with SP2? I never acyually checked to see if bluespace supoorted it or not, I just assumed so since SP2 doesn’t. Thanks for any additional help.

My desktop is a Sony Vaio! Still can’t get BlueSpace NE to work on that! You would think Sony software would work on Sony PC’s. Does anyone have any ideas on getting BS NE to work on a desktop with XP SP2?

I understand BlueSolei supports it, but I never could get it to install properly. I think Jiggy uses it and he may be able to answer your questions… after he gets his drive working.
