Ive got to replace my tr2 after gatwick airport lost it.
Are they still current, what would be todays equivalent if they are not

Ouch.  I always carried my TR notebook w/ me on airplanes—too pricey to lose, & most importantly, because I use it

Latest, or the last TR Model is the TR5 Series.  I believe the TR series is discontinued—even though I saw a posting by a guy in this forum claiming to work for Sony, who said that they are going to be introudcing newer TRs.

There is no model after the TR5MP (in Europe, that is).
The T1 series has replaced the TR series; as said on sonystyle-europe.com:

“Lightweight, ultra-portable and styled with understated elegance, the T1-Series is
both mobile office and personal entertainment centre for the discerning traveller”

I found the keyboard very small now, so I wouldn’t get it for myself, but it’s
up to yourself of course.
