Do you know any Hardware Diagnostic Utility that test system’s hardware for errors and functionality (processor, CMOS, PCI system, Memory, IDE devices, SCSI devices,UBS system, Video)?
You can also try out SiSoftware’s Sandra or Lavalys EVEREST. Both are not bad. I’m not sure how indepth you need but both seem pretty popular. I think EVEREST is what was once AIDA32.
Does anyone know of any good videocard diagnostic utilities? My nVidia GeForce4 isnt working with any Linux that I try to install (SUSE (my fav), Mandrake, Fedora, Debian, or Red Hat). It had given me some slight problems with Win98 also. The problem seems confined to something with Linux so I don’t know if it is hardware based or what. I think it is at this point because I had been using SUSE for months about a year ago and then just didnt really use it much.
