Is the silver T smooth or grainy?

I’m in the US and looked at the T at a Sony Style store and they only had the midnight blue color on a grainy finish top and bottom.  I saw the Silver at on viao’s website and it looked smooth unlike the one I saw.  Can someone verify this?  Also where do they sell the silver ones?

The surface of the T in silver has a grainy feel to it… but a nice grainy.. if that makes any sense…. Makes it feel more expensive…

There was one in silver? I thought they only came in Midnight Blue and Burgundy (Japanese Version).

Somebody said the silver is availabe in England. Who can figure Sony’s marketing philosophy? Not me.

in a sense that the gray is a little childish ... The midnight blue looks like black. The gray makes the computer to look like a toy. This is not only mine but several people’s opinon.
