[quote author=“DayWalker1”]Chris,
bettery life, with modest settings on the 700m and the 6cell battery is exactly 3 hours na 45 mins.
The battery sticks twice as much as the T
The screen is awesome and 12” of course
the weight is twice the T
I have no idea where DELL screws it up but hte 1.6Ghz ... doesnt add up that much on the speed. exactly 27% with sisoft sandra. over the T….
The video is the same as TR and T
Well I am not to worried about battery life…The only time I am not plug in is when I am on my couch and I am too lazy to plug in.
My needs my change where I will need my notebook for my a new job and then and only then will I pay a premium price for a laptop.
I personally thought that 10.6” screen is too small. I messed with every setting I could…But, All and all it came down with the screen was too small.
I am really happy that you said that the screen is nice… tweleve inches is more than I had and not the size of the S.
Which defining a sub and thin and light. I can’t wait to get her on Monday…I am really excited…From everything I’ve seen on the Web…The review are outstanding with like one of them naming the 700m as a bestbuy.
I think for a second notebook I would have a 10.6” screen..>But for my primary I need something bigger…I just hope that this 12” wide will…
I am thinking it will because it will be better utilized real estate than the powerbook which is a 4:3.
Well, I’ll see soon enough…I am excited about the extra performance increase…IMO both the TR and T were a little slugish for my needs…
I think if I had to buy a business computer which I could soon….Will be the S…fully decked out…Hopefully they offer the x800 in the config…
Then I’ll definitely want one…
The Memory speed is the same and the performance is roughly under 10% faster because of the CPU
The speakers are as bad as the T
They have a Bay DVD-ROM which is removable, which is good.
I personally dont like the 700m, but ... it is a cheap machine.
