“Stop complaining about the batteries”
Pardon, but didn’t I say that I was going w/ TR notebook again? I don’t have problem w/ TR batteries, but do w/ 700M. So I am going w/ TR. It’s simple as that—ok, the design, & the webcam too
And I wasn’t talking about T-150. I didn’t even mention it in my prior posts. Ok, I did briefly considered it, though
Admitedly, that was one of the reason why I decided to go w/ TR book again. As you know, they have very good battery life—even w/ the reg one. I am not going to repute your T150 battery life claim of 8 hrs under normal usage, because I don’t have it. But since some say that T series is a spritual successor to TR series, I am sure that it has a great bettery life too—if not better, as you say. I don’t know what normal usuage is, because it differs w/ people, but w/ mine, it doesn’t last nearly that long even w/ the TR—not even 4+ hours.
On the road, I have learned to use the notebook by adjusting the battery performance lv—even when I am using it for very extended time. So, I am ok w/ it. I really haven’t thought about getting a spare battery w. TR. But I would, if I was going w/ 700m. And that was an issue to me as well.
700m is hands down superior, perf wise. It’s cheaper, fairly light, & the design is ok. Only real draw back is the weak battery life.
TR is lighter, has adequate perf, is better looking, & cool. Plus w/ the webcam, I can record it VGA—ok, aint that great, but it’s very useful for me.
No offense, but that’s what it is… It’s personal taste. I will admit that I liked the design, webcam & the battery life. So in the end, it got me thiking about TR again.
I am just going to assume, but will say that one of the reason why some people got TR is because of the design—they are willing to pay that extra $. And I just don’t like the jutting design, is all. Each to his/ her own, I guess.
Ha, now I am rambling… And this was supposed to be for a wanted post.
My apologies, if I somehow offended you. As I said, M700 is a great machine. I am sure you will be happy w/ it
