Chris mentioned he couldn’t really justify keeping it…so, it’s now property of one Mr. Daywalker aka Daywalker1. He sold it to him for a good price from what I heard and now everyone is happy. Chris does have a spiffy desktop so can still compute.

Thats what my girl just got…of course she ordered it without talking to me first and paid $1,500 :shock:
The saleslady said if she didn’t ordered it that minute it would not ship in time for finals…and my girl was dumb enough to believe her :shock:
In the end, I priced the exact same system online for $1,050. She couldn’t cancel it because she used a debit card which meant it could take up to 2 weeks to credit back…then she wouldn’t have had it for finals.
It wasn’t my money, so I didn’t care…but still. Oh, and she went to Dell Education…what a rip, they should be ashamed

The main reason I built that system with 1 of the top 5 video cards in the world was to play Flight sim 2004 (with highest settings and with kickass fps), but after my first install it gave me a jerky performance i.e. every 4-5 secs there would be a pause for a fraction of a sec and then it would continue fine for another 4-5 secs. After doing a reinstall of the OS that problem went away (recently it’s returned again) and at a few airports I get like 14-15 fps and also the rendering of the textures takes a sec or 2 every now and then….not supposed to happen when people with 9800 pro and XT also do not experience such problems with all/almost settings maxed out.
