Hey guys, I found a tr2ap3 going for 1300 in my neighborhood. I think I’m going to buy it. What do you guys think?

so, without telling me, and after making me take all my money out of the bank, and taking back all the money people have been owing me for the past 5 years,  she puts it on ebay. She continues to tell me she will sell it to me for the agrred price of $1300, but she sold on ebay for a substancial amount more. $300 more to be exact. Now she left me wiith 1300 cash in my house, alot of time wasted, a whole lot of turned down deals on ebay that i saw, and no more hope. I mean, she could have at least told me she was looking for better offers, and if she didnt find any, then she would sell it to me. But no. nothing. I had to find out she put it up on ebay BY MYSELF. what ever, i do understand where she comes from though. $300 is alot of money.
However, I give up. this whole process has pissed me off too much, between the scammers, the hesitation and losing of a great deals on ebay, and this person. I dont care for any laptop any more. thanks for the help guys. Great forum.

Aw, Dennis, now come on! Don’t give up so easily! You’re trying to get a 2000$+ notebook for less than 1500$, that’s really not something you can expect to happen right after you wake up in the morning. I actually waited more than three months until I found a decent deal for my TR5MP!

And now, imagine how proud and happy you’ll be, once you have your VAIO TR in your own hands, after all that struggle…

FrodoID is right Dennis.  While some people on here were lucky to be able to afford new TRs some of us had to bide our time till the price was right.
I don’t think you should give up completly but maybe just accept it’ll take a while and you just need to keep your eyes and ears open so when the offer-to-die-for arrives you’re ready to pounce.
And don’t forget that this forum is normally the first place people post their sales so stick around and enjoy the ride :ph34r:

After wanting that particular TR2AP3, i dont know if i want to even search for regular TR’s. I really want an AP3 version, and i just dont have enough money to afford them. I may be sounding stuid with this post, but the combination of that and being worn out from this search, i just cant do it anymore. If you guys just hapen to come across a good deal, you can post it here, or just shoot me an im on aim at vinni ze pooh.
