No worries dude !! Lot of people dont even know where belgium is (if they know it exists)
There is no such thing as a Belgian language. We have 3 national languages French, Dutch (aka Flemish, well basically the same as in Netherlands) and German. The German part is really tiny. So the 2 main languages are French and Dutch.
So if you have a vague idea of how Belgium looks like (it s pretty much the size of L.A) the Dutch part is the north half, the French part is the south half, the German part is a tiny spot on the south east. Then you have the bilingual Brussels (capital of Europe) where you have to speak French and Dutch in order to find a job.
amazing isn t it so small and so complicated ( coze i m not even talking about the political fights between the French & the Dutch parliament)
So now you guys won t eat a wafel the same way anymore
