It’s another weapon in the arsenal. It prevents ActiveX spyware programs from installing in the first place via IE but doesn’t search your HD for spyware. Adaware and Spybot (never rely on just one) remove spyware after installation.
That it does. I haven’t heard any pricing on the final version yet. It worries me that they might actually charge for this stuff. My boss described it as “sounds like giving away defective condoms and selling people penicillin”. That said, I’d gladly pay if this was going to be a centrally managed product, but it seems to be a repackaging of the old GIANT software. They didn’t even bother to rename the executable…
