Does anyone know of a link or even any kind of way to directly order LG cell phones’ individual parts?  My friend broke her VX4500’s front screen and as a birthday present I was gonna fix it for her…
She doesn’t want to have Verizon replace it because they said that her downloaded ringtones and games wouldn’t be transfered. This confused me because I remember both my cousins’ phone and mine had our ringtones transferred :?  But in any case I figured I would get an LCD from the parts website (if they have one) and then just replace it for her.
So if anyone knows of the link to a parts center online for LG phones it would be great. Thanks

Ask them to lookup the ringtones, themes, whatever she paid for and mark it for reload. Get them to replace the phone and redownload them. Done it million times… Although Verizon Sux…

Thanx but thats not what I asked for.  Either way they refuse to do that for her for some gay reason or another so I figure I will do this instead.

cell phones are hard for the repairs… usually the manufacturer sells batches of parts to repair centers, that do the insurance claims, or just repairs for users. I used to be Ericsson Repair Rep in Europe a while ago.
Other way to do it ... just get a new phone and swap the lcd’s, get the new broken one and send it for service. They will of course charge you but after they are done you can sell it… hassle but ... works.

Yea I’ve been searching eBay for a few days and looking for one that is AS-IS and has problems with other parts of the phone and a perfect front LCD…. argh none so far.

Well… I guess there isnt one… But… another question…
When you want to transfer phonebooks, ringtones etc from one phone to another without taking it to Verizon and charging $10 per switch :evil: can I buy something like this and switch the data between my old C343 and my T730?? It says all i need is software… cant really find any…
