Has anyone successfully played World of Warcraft on a TR-Series laptop?

I think he means more on ‘how does the game run, how many frames per second, are there any playability issues’ rather than one-word summaries (which, btw, aren’t that bad, if backed up with more verbose explanations.)

And please do elaborate, I want to play WoW too.

Just installed WoW on my TR. Good news is no lockups, bluescreens or reboots. Character is pretty responsive to movement commands. Graphics take off on a tangent or portions of the image may not show up, such as internal characters.

I think it may well be playable with some tweaking.

Given the TRs graphics limitations when it’s running it looks pretty good.

I’m off to see what I info I can find.

Using the latest Intel drivers and DirectX 9C.

It’s running full screen. I haven’t had have any problems with lag or display errors.

The game seems well thought out and I’ve enjoyed what little I’ve been able to play it. It runs on the TR with the proper drivers and a little tweaking. I suggest that “awesome” might require a machine that can do the graphics justice.

Given the stated hardware requirements I am surprised. I am totally unsurpised by useless responses from anonymous posters.

Does anyone have a link for the latest Intel drivers?

I’ve been playing WoW on my desktop and it is a great game.  It will be interesting to see how it runs on the TR (my desktop is a P4 3.2 with a 6800GT - so there will be a HUGE difference but as long as it’s playable, that would be pretty cool).
