Hi I’m new here.  :D   I don’t know if anyone of you have tried to use the “English” Recovery CDs bought from the Sony on Japanese version of X?

Mine came with custom restore CDs. I know from other Sony items it is unlikely you will be able to restore a US OS on a Jap machine.

I got my X505/CP from dynamism.com, they gave me English recover CDs (containing Norton Ghost files). I believe they will work fine, but I have never tried.
