Look at all the color configurations! Yes, $350 is pricey for a case but it’s leather and integrates with your TR perfectly.

I saw those for the iPods…and I wanted to buy an iPod just to use one of those cases. Oh well.  But definitely quality worksmanship.  :shock:

It’s not blocking the exhaust vent and a lot of the air intake is done via the keyboard. So, I don’t think it’s too bad. I can only see the RAM getting warm but nothing that’s out of specs unless you’re using it out in 100+ F temperatures.

This is prob. the best case you will ever see for a TR, well worth every penny IMO. Their cases are just incredible in person. If I still had a TR I would have ordered one tonight. I sent them an e-mail about making one for the 505…doubt they will do it, not enough out there.

That bump looks suspiciously to me like it goes over the screw cover on the memory hatch, with a beauty bit of mesh going over the air vents :D

It’s hard to believe Vaja could be so dumb thinking that it was a speaker, but maybe their ‘master artisans’ don’t actually turn the things on?

I’ve got a white and grey vaja for my ipod, and can’t speak highly enough for the quality, fit etc.. They’re shit loads of cash, but it’s importand to keep your gear snug isn’t it?

Nice, I have one of their cases for my PocketPC and the craftsmanship and materials are superb. I also sent along a request for an S case, and wouldn’t be nervous about putting it in there since it seems to stay cooler than the TR.

I have both machines, and the bottom of my TR gets hotter than the S, especially toward the front-left of the machine. The S probably does better with a heat-pipe system, larger fan, and more aggressive fan programming, whereas the TR was designed to be quiet. I can watch a DVD with the S sitting on the carpet and it’s barely warm when it’s finished, while the TR is uncomfortably hot.

I also have to agree. My S is cooler than my TR overall. I think the less cramped internals have something to do with it. It simply doesn’t get hot. Warm yes. Hot no.
