Ok this is really weird. Till about 5 minutes back i had about 15 IE windows open, suddenly right now after coming back on from hibernation all my windows were closed. As if this wasnt weird enough, i CANNOT open more than 1 IE window now. As soon as i try to open more windows it replaces the one thats open already and goes to the home page. So in effect i cannot have more than 1 IE window open. I restarted the system but the problem persists ... Could this be a glitch in IE ?

Or, if you must use IE, then use Maxthon which uses the IE engine but provides a vastly improved interface and optional features.

lol, text browser. Hey I have a question, on my sony T, the touchpad has these webbroswer features where it has the back and foward button on the top slider.  My horizontal scroll doesn’t seme to work in firefox either. weird.

Ok now the IE is really pissing about. I’d love to be able to just get rid of IE ?  Any idea ?

Sounds like you’ve got spyware. Scrub , clean , disinfect and protect .

I suppose you could get rid of the 89k iexplore.exe file, but you don’t really want to totally get rid of the IE core. The windows help system and lots of other 3rd part software actually use the IE browser underpinings. Using Windows Update is nice too. Best to clean up the mess and just switch browsers.
