And, yes the Type S review is coming. I’ve finally got it working the way that I want so I can finally really use it. And yes, there will be the same battery test I’ve done in the past among other things.
And no, I haven’t forgotten about the TR. I have another article in the works regarding connectivity and will actually cover both TR and S series.
Yeah, I understand everyone’s concern about the velcro. All I can say is that it’s very very good velcro. It’s not the cheap kind that loses it’s grip quickly.
I picked one of these up based largely on gr00vy’s review and am glad that it’s working out great. The fit and finish are top-notch, and the materials are very good, though not as awesome as WaterField’s stuff. It would be nice if you could attach a strap or handle to this, but I guess it’s because I’ve been spoiled by my TR’s case!
The slipcase itself weighs a hefty 450g? Won’t that make the S into a Dell 600m? (2.3kg) Hmm… Seriously wondering if the case would add that much weight until the S becomes a dell.
I am currently considering whether to buy the case or not.
A lot heavier. The problem here is that I already felt that the Dell was way overweight when I just carry it on its own (Which is 2.38kg) So I was wondering if the S would weigh the same with this case.
Yeah, any case is going to add some weight. This case does add a little bit of heft but it sure beats being extremely upset because your notebook got scratched or detented because it wasn’t properly protected.
Brilliant! I’ve been trying to get the Sony brand but coming up short for the longest time. This looks like a good alternative. Does anyone have this yet? How is it compared to the Sony brand?
