Ok… Get comfy slightly long story
So I was at school the other day and my friend opened the door for me and as I walked out I tripped and we have these HUGE flower pots outside the doors and my iPod which was in my hand flew out, hit the pot then the concrete sidewalk. Now I know they are tough, but it wasn’t tough enough for this and completely broke. So I did some research and talked to friends and found a place where if I get 10 people to sign up an account, and complete an offer (Example: Buy 5 DVD’s for 49 cent each + S&H, and agree to buy 5 more for 14.95 in the next 2 yeras) I can get a new iPod. I REALLY need this because if my mom notices which she will in a few weeks I dont have it, she will butcher me with her new meat cleaver. So if you could help me out I would SOOOO owe you!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. I only need like 8 more people. (Few kids at my school have credit cards). I know this is a long shot but I’m desparate. And NO I am not some freak fromthe company lol looking for business, I’m just a high schooler about to have a panic attack. Thanks a TON! +!
You may also simply want to come clean to your mom about the incident. Parents are good about finding out about stuff and are likely to get even more mad if you try to deceive them. It was an honest accident and it’s not like you were messing around when it happened.

But it’s fun to do stuff behind your parents backs…
But yea… just tell them after doing one fairly nice thing… umm washing their car w/o them asking you?... then make sure you catch them at that time when they are really relaxed like watching the commercials of a movie you just rented and exaggerate the innocence wayyy more than neccessary… Always works for me
[quote author=“jso902”][quote author=“tifosiv122”]It is legit, however you will wait months to get your ipod…won’t really help in your situation.
Good luck,
Erik
i’ll be the dumb one to ask… how do you know if something is legit?
When TechTV, Wired, NY Times, etc. all reports that it is, you tend to believe it. They all say you will wait months (possibly a year) before getting your iPod.
I dont do the car washing thing… too spoiled.. and too many cars. Any help? and I dont think my parents would be understanding about this.. it was barely 2 weeks old.. HELP ME PLEASE AND I"LL BE YOUR BESTEST FRIEND FOREVER

Haha….i doubt it. The minute you receive your new “free” iPod, you will forget about me and be back at school showing off your ipod while trying to not trip over large pots!

Sorry, love, I’m in the same position you’re in. I don’t have an iPod, and I’m a poor, starving student. With a TR.
Like most guys here have said, just tell her. They can’t do too much to you. For the most part.

From the sounds of it if you do come clean your parents will be able to buy you a new one… Hell they could even sell one of their cars to do so
Oooo, if you are really desperate, I am sure you will stoop as “low” as to wash the cars to redeem yourself. This just goes to show that you are not really “afraid” of your parents finding out; rather, it is in your intentions to get the free I-pod, with the help of others.
