Does anyone out there have one of these. I bought mine last week and am having major issues getting the thing to work at home :(
I tried to hook it up with my printer first - no luck! When I switch it on, all it does is flash yellow, which according to the handbook means there is a problem with my internet?
Any thoughts or pointers?
I’m using my TR2 with a BT Voyager combined ASDL modem and wireless router and an HP officejet 6110? I’m no network expert.
no, you’re meant to be able to use it to network a printer, play music through i-tunes or extend the range of a wireless network if you’re using an airport base station already.

i have a tr with airport express to my audio system and hp 2100 laser jet. works fine if you use the apple assistant program. but apple did not work with my hp office jet, oddly. (i got 2 printers) not much help, but some thoughts.

never join apple, ever!
my tr costed as much as a powerbook. they’re really not that expensive.
Sony is generally more expensive then most compatable PCs, so it’s about even when you compare a Sony to Apple product. In fact, you could say Sony is sometimes more expensive, look at their HDD Mp3 Players:

Nice.
Seriously, I wouldn’t say that Apple sucks. Despite the Steve Jobs’ reality distortion field, they occasionally do put out decent products and help move the industry forward. Looks is subjective.
Why should they have compatibility with Windows XP? And also, what do you mean by that? OS X is pretty “compatible” in many ways. A lot of software can read PC versions of files and vice versa.

I give that man a hell of a lot of credit, he (in my mind at least) turned a failing company into a less then failing company pretty quickly. I didn’t forget why he left Apple in the first place, but his re-entry was one of the best comebacks I can remember.
He didn’t leave Apple. He was forced out by the board of directors…how messed up was that?
They then went ahead and ran the company into the ground and then begged him to come back and save them…and you’re absolutely right. He so saved them. The guy definitely has charisma and vision…but he sometimes…oh, i don’t know…exaggerates.

Yeah I know why he left…I mis-spoke I guess, I should have said I know why he was kicked out…either way. Oh, its the drugs that gives him his visions…lol.
