my TR2A is much nicer than I had anticipated. What a beautiful machine! Absolutely beautiful.

Windows still provokes a visceral reaction but I have Windows XP Annoyances, Windows XP In A Nutshell, and Windows XP Hacks lined up beside me.

NetStumbler, Norton Antivirus and MS Office Professional 2003 have been etched onto the hard drive.

Now to play with the camera.

So how hard does one need to rag Sony for the nonexistent Photoshop Elements advertised on their TR2A advertisement?

Confession: I almost carried the TR2A to the store with me but the fact that it is only 5 degrees out there and the case has yet to arrive…common sense prevailed although I suspect I will wake up next to a dog AND a TR2A tomorrow.

Just throwing in a plug: 4 ALL MEMORY - great service, quick and they stand behind their chips with no hassle paid returns (replacement sent in the ship back box) AND an email apology for the inconvenience.

Yeah, that’s an odd thing…the TR1s came with Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 preinstalled. Perhaps, it’s on one of the Application CDs? I forgot if our other TR2 members checked or not?

Calling all TR2 owners! Was PS Elements on the CDs?

elements was on my computer pre-installed.  look for the elements icon not the adobe folder when you go to start programs.

To clear things up , Premire LE, Photoshop Elements and SonicStage Mastering Studio are NOT included on the TR2A, only on the top two TR2 models.  Go to this TR spec page and scroll down to the software section
    I guess maybe other sources implied the Adobe software was supposed to be included with all TR models.

I see from the Specs offered on one of these posts…PS Elements resides on the upper echelons.

BUT

I looked at my CD (I had it loaded on the Powerbook)....it is MAC/PC!

What Windows newsreaders are awesome? Would prefer stand alones as opposed to using a Mozilla clone, etc.
