Guys,
My question is in regard to my SRX77, but I’m hopeful that one of the gurus here will have an answer for me.
I want to update the BIOS on the SRX77; the update is supposed to install from a bootable floppy, which I’ve created. However, the floppy drive is a USB type, and I can’t make the machine boot from it.
I’m pretty sure the machine will boot from the PCMCIA CD drive—but it’s read-only, so even if I knew how to make a bootable CD, I can’t do it on this machine.
I do have a Dell desktop that has both a floppy and a CD-R drive—is there a way to use the bootable floppy I’ve created to make a bootable CD on that machine?
Thanks!
DC
