Standalone MINIDV player ?

I was wondering if they actually are available ? I often get sick of rewinding my MINI DV tapes in my camcorder coz its just such a pain. Is there a seperate player that could rewind/FF them ?

Yes, they exist. Kinda pricey though compared to regular VCRs as most are targeted towards professionals.
