This is odd.  All of a sudden, my TR started making an incessant and irregular humming sound.  It’s almost certainly coming from the fan, but I’m not sure exactly what the problem is.  When I shut down my TR and restarted, the noise stopped. 

Any ideas?

did u drop it somehow?? ( i m sure u didn;t cause we care..)

In the BIOS do you have the fan switched to on always?  Even when on AC power?

Check this out maybe it’ll stop.

Is there a certain process running/blocked ? check your processes.

Did not drop it.  Would never drop this thing!

I think the fan is always on.  Does this matter?
