And don’t forget Thundercats and Silverhawks!
Isn’t it ironic how both had the similar battle cries?

Silverhawks, Tally Ho!!!
What’s up with the use of HO ?

Actually, Eric, I agree with you on Transformers! I did like GI Joe at the time, but I didn’t miss it after it was gone. Transformers rocked, though.
Another great one I grew up with was Goldorak, which was in French. Anybody know it?
Obviously, I won’t even bother praising BOTP (G-Force), as it’s already in the history books as an undisputed classic…

I agree…even though I know that it was only created so they could sell a new line of Cobra-La toys. It worked. I bought the set with three new characters and had them terrorize my Cobra Commander.
Still, it was awesome and the animation quality at the time was top notch. I do wish Jinx would have just kicked Falcon’s butt and be done with him…
So, Transformers: The Movie or GI Joe: The Movie?

Maybe it’s my inability to accept change, but I hated Cobra-La. Did it really have to come to the point where terrorist organizations with ridiculous motives had to have mutant leaders instead of highly idiosyncratic ones?
[quote author=“gr00vy0ne”]So, Transformers: The Movie or GI Joe: The Movie?
Let’s see. Orson Wells, Leonard Nemoy, Robert Stack, the deaths of both Optimus Prime and Starscream, Megatron actually killing Autobots and Unicron, a planet-sized Transformer.
vs.
Burgess Meredith and “Cobra LALALALALAlalalalala”.
No contest.
