i tried a bit around and i did it and it installed fine. here is how i did it.

i copied the network smart capture folder to my desktop ( you also can copy it somewhere you want just need to remember the path ) and run the setup within the windows command ( old dos windows )

go to start and run the command “cmd” for the command promt. change the path to the copied folder with “cd +path” and open the folder with “dir +folder name” and the files should appear in the black window. now when you see the files type “setup”  and it will run the installer and install network capture without problems ( at least for me )

sorry when i stated the commands. most of you guys knows them anyhow but maybe some don’t.

Simpler way, create a shortcut to the installation exe file and put the shortcut any where other than the folder where the exe file is.  Run the setup from that shortcut   Cheers

Hi guys, just tried both ways .. didnt work :(

I still ge the message: “Setup is aborted. Please close Network Smart Capture if its running and try again.

I also tried installing is from SafeMode .. noway.. same problem..  :(

any idea please?
