X505 vs. other under 2 pounders…

The 505 was the only one under 2lbs, the rest were over, some close to 3.

I think the whole comparision just isn’t fair, or better said: it seems like the people at cnet just quickly pulled something together without really checking if the notebooks would be very comparable to each other.

The X505 just doesn’t fit here. It’s either one subnotebook size class smaller or even a whole class for itself. Like Erik already pointed out, all other notebooks in this review are way over two pounds.

The Sharp Actius MM20 may be worth being compared side by side to the X505, but then again the Sharp Actius MP30 doesn’t fit at all.

Yeah, the editor probably had a deadline to come up with something and obviously had no clue and just threw this together. Again, it’s so lame and helps them to continue losing any sense of credibility.
