Just a question: I was wondering where the speakers on the T Series was located, I don’t remember seeing them in any of the pictures. Can someone enlighten me on this issue?

Kinda in the front part of the base.  The sound eminates from the front base (you see the grill area).  It is pretty good sounding on a hard surface, but I preferred the tr placement personally.  It might be slightly louder than the tr, but still not much base (not that I expect this in any small notebook).

Thank you lots. I’m planning to buy it when it becomes available here in Australia as I’m going to Syria and Egypt for 2 months for study. I’m leaving on November 25th so let’s all hope and pray that it’s not another date for the world to remember like Sep 11. Anyways, I haven’t had a feel for the T Series yet so I’m interested to see it. I’ve played around with the TR long enough so it’d be good to compare the two. I just want Sony Australia to bloody release it!

I don’t know if this helps…But, I was playing a dvd today and it sounded a lot better than my old TR….IMO these speakers are lot better.
