Worked without a problem on the DVD/CD-RW and the DVD-RW drives.

That’s exactly what I was thinking…

870 MB cds are available .. i tried to buy some but i wasnt sure if they’d work , I have an external 52 x I omega cd writer which doesnt burn 800 mb cds so im sure it wouldnt burn these either..  :?

Never heard of that brand….however you might be able to burn that much data on a regular 800 mb cd by using the overburn feature in a software like Nero rolleyes

Yes i know overburn, but would it facilitate another 70 MB ? I guess will just have to give it a try

Why risk it… it can damage your writer… the media damage doesn;t matter much but your writer?
(This is still possible right? Damage to your writer?)
