Nice! I think I may have to do this once the price drops a little bit. 2GB would suit me a lot better since my current Photoshop projects exceed 1GB of memory…

Yeah, I think I’ll wait for it to drop in price too. I’ve already spent enough on this machine…. 2GB will be nice in the future though….  :D I’m just happy that the S allows for so many upgrades, should be a long while before I need a new machine!...

Sorry - forgot to login before posting the above message.  Anyone know of other vendors that sell this 1GB chip?  At this time, $399 seems to be the magic number they’re going with…

Yes, both S and TR series use microdimms.  Although, I only requested Swissbit to verify 2GB compatibility with the S series.

EDIT:  I installed two of these 1GB chips into my S270 and everything works well…  2GB   :D

I forgot to update that I did end up getting these and they work splendidly in my S. 2GB is awesome.

I bought mine from portableone.com. I’ve used them before when buying my Fujitsu laptops and they’re pretty solid. Fast shipping since I’m in CA too.

So you have both An S and a TR…  that means that you could test to confirm if the 2GB of ram does indeed work in a TR yeah? pretty please!

Would be nice to know, i wanna add a 1GB to mine… chuck out 256, keep the 512, to then get 1.5gb…  i regularly exceed 1gig of ram with the stuff i do…  and god does that disk sloooooooow you down!!!
