damn ... wanted to order the x505 from our companys favorite dealer, but what?  :shock: dealer was told by sony distributor that they are no more delivering the x505

obviously sony is no more producing these units

x505 out of stock everywhere…  :evil:

gotta wait until ill travel somewhere else to get one of the last pieces

So far, so good…still can’t swap the keyboard yet, I am waiting on the service manual.

Still no luck swapping the keyboard. I took out all the screws, I still can’t figure out what holds this thing together, it almost seems like glue, there is no play with the CF part and the casing…strange. The service manual doesn’t seem to help much either.

I am bringing it to several Sony Service centers to see what they can do.

I posted a part #‘s thread for those needing it.
