[quote author=“gr00vy0ne”][quote author=“tifosiv122”][quote author=“gameson”]as for X505, i m impressed with design, but not with the price. sorry eric
but it’s just not worth $3000, probably $2000, but not $3000
I agree, it’s not for everyone…you (buyer) first need to get over the fact that your paying about $1-1.5K over what you should for the components…1Ghz, 512MB, 20Gb…on it’s face it’s a bad deal…unless you really need it to be super thin and light, it’s a waste.
Erik
Exactly…where are all these people coming from who bring PRICE into the equation? It’s all about style, design, usability, aesthetics, coolness, and drool factor. If you want value then there’s plenty of other choices!
ageed…
BTW, I have seen the x505 and I was impressed on its size…But the keyboard and screen looked cheap….and the keyborad felt like they were made out of some dollar store calculator plastic…
IMO I will keep my TR. Also I bought the TR for many reasons and one was it size.
I looked at the “s” and considered upgrading….But looking at it now I can’t believe it even crossed my mind.
The TR is the perfect size for me the S is too big….I also love the color and am glad they stopped making them….It makes are less likely to be around so it will still have a drool factor while not too many in production.
Too bad they didn’t come with special edition numers on them…oh that always could be the serial code…
