i just bought jog dial, i think i m going to wait until these HD based players come out with color screen and ability to store pictures as well (sony has one but only in japan). i think we will see these sometimes next year.

Cool, thanks. I have an issue with Display models that have batteries…its an important part of the item and is usually dead from sitting there for over a year…

The NiMH rechargeable battery is embedded inside the unit, you could probably order a spare one from the Sony Parts Center and take it apart to replace it. It’s not easily replaceable though.

All Duo Pro will work in Pro slots (with sled).
Your clie must not be Pro compatable therefore no Pro, Duo or otherwise will work. This is why Sony came up with the 128x2 Regular MS card…those with older units could still get 256MB on one stick.

First, they didn’t even have it and secondly…the ones they had (at the 3 stores I went to) were floor models that were all beat up.
Sorry Erik…looks like GoodGuy’s deal was too good to be true. I had them check all local stores and none of them had it. Even the store that supposedly was holding one for you (under my name) didn’t have it. Bastards.
i went to check it out there,the one in City of Industry, at noon around 12.15. The lady said they just sold the last one out. I ask her to check other store around the area. In Brea, they sold out, at Chino Hill, the have one but open box, i saw the list of other location, most of them show 0 in stock. Some of the them shows 1. and only several that have 2. the most i think it was 2.

Wow, that sucks…you didn’t have to go to three stores…thanks so much! Floor models for things like this are a stay away…
I’m sorry to get everyone’s hopes up…it looked legit to me…
IMO the employees pulled it because the guy from the store that I had holding it said he had it in his hands…of course he asked for the model # 10 times, so who really knows.
