does anyone use headphones with their TR?  i wondered what was a good pair of headphone that i could buy.  also, does anyone use bluetooth enabled headphones.  i have recently seen these and wondered how well they worked.

What sort of blue tooth headphones have you seen? do you mean mono ones for use with telephone etc or have you found some stereo headphones? These are still in their infancy i think, but when they come out i definitely want a pair.

i am going to have to look… i havent seen them for a month or two.  they might have been used with a cell phone.  but they were over 100 dollars so i figured they were decent and could be stereo.  i will look for them

I use the Sony MDR-EX71SL earbuds.  They go inside your ear canal forming a seal and the sound is just amazing.  I got the white color to match my TR2.  Sony in the US only sells the black color so I ordered from audiocubes.com.  They imported them from Japan for $46 + $10 shipping.

I like Koss’ The Plug myself. They’re about half the cost of the Sonys. I’ve seen quite a few people have problems with both models because they happen to have very small ear canals.

I use Sony’s MDR-EX70LP earbuds, which have lasted an incredible 5 years and counting. I also have a pair of MDR-NC11 noise-canceling earbuds, which are superb when traveling to block out noise. Bluetooth audio is definitely in its infancy, and with only 723kbps of peak data transfer to work with, it’ll probably be in the next BT spec revision that provides for a hi-fi audio profile. I currently use a Bluetooth headset with my phone, and the audio/range/battery all could stand to be improved.
