Looking for TR5AP owners??

Firstly Thanks for the reply, this will be greatly appreciated.

Secondly, all BIOS are made in Japan and the technicians from each region logon to their FTP site to download, of course you need a password to access and they need a report why you are downloaded, so not easy to get.

I tried to get from SONY Japan, and they simply refuse. Other regions have been more helpful, but USA needs you to send in your machine, they will not email it either, so not an option.

As for how to get the BIOS I hear there are programs that can simple make an image, this get put onto a normal floppy disk and then you use the same program to flash the Bios. You will also be asked if you want to backup you original so if you want to go back you can.

I will source the best program and post here soonest.

The Bios for the TR3 is available, has anyone compared bios versions between the TR5 and TR3 US versions?

Did you ever flash your Bios with a TR5AP Bios? Are you able to utilize all original Sony softwares by using the image method?

Were you able to install such soft as English Click to DVD, etc???

HI, here is the soft that I was recommended to use to get the copy of the BIOS and to use to flash with new TR5AP bios image

No, nothing coming around, it seems very few TR5AP users out there, I have one guy with the TR5MP model, but means I now need to source the Recovery DVD for that model.
