Not your thumb pad, but your home…place in which you live.
After reading many posts, it seems some people are well off, some are nerds, some are even playboys *cough* Erik, lol. Just wanted to know what kind of places yall call home. I myself live at a beach, which is cool, but it sucks in the summer because of the huge amount of people (city population goes from 7,500 to 500,000). Worse yet, I work as a seasonal officer. My place is 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, normal things like kitchen, living room, dining room, and deck. I live on a canal, and have a boat (20’ Fisher Craft a.k.a. Pontoon Boat). I drive a 1999 BMW 323i, it’s my baby. I attend Salisbury University in the city of Salisbury just 30 minutes west of here, there I’m studying in Business Administration. In one year I will have my undergrad and will start my Masters. Okay, so that was more like my life story…but whatever. Include whatever’s happening in your lives? Anything interesting? I just got another dog…that makes two. One is a shih tzu named Chico (he’s eight) and the new doggie is a Suki (Yorkie and Shih Tzu mix) her name is Tiger and she’s 10 weeks. That’s about it for me.
P.S. that was post number 70, just 6 or so more and I’m guessing I will no longer be the Naughty Right Shift Key. LOL
I’m in a temp pad because of law school :cry: I miss my old house…finished basement, custom Pool Table to match full Bar, 150+ Model cars in lucite/mirror cases, 60+” Widescreen TV, Sony Surround Sound, Custom Natuzzi Leather Sofa, my hangout….
Then the computer room…and both my bedrooms, excersize room, full basketball court, 2 Jacuzzi’s, Pool, gigantic deck, circular driveway, pond/waterfall out front…
erik, don t tell me you have an indoor full b-ball court… if you do.. gosh i envy you so much !!!!
Dont you need someone to look after your house while you are away..if you do.. i got you cover.. it ll be a pleasure :D
I m just so in love with NY… can t wait to go back there.. as a matter of fact my dream is to own a penthouse with a view on central park.. how sweet is that 8)

No pics of GF…that I will share on the net…somehow they will end up naked and with other people…lol.
My full basketball court was outdoors…2 hoops, benches, (at one time electronic score board), etc…
In the winter we sometimes converted it to an ice-skating rink for ice hockey.

EDIT: forgot to mention, house is up for sale…$700,000, located in central New Jersey. If seriously interested, please send me an e-mail. Not in a rush to sell so price not too flexible at this point in time.

Its not my house, parents house. I was going to school about 25 minutes from my house, and there was nowhere in between for me to live. I would usually stay at my GF (different one the I am with now) place on weekends. When I started working while at school i put some money into my (our) house, specifically in the basement…my hangout. That alone cost me close to $30K…which my parents said they would repay when the house is sold…woo hoo. This is also why I could afford so many cars…all my money went towards that and electronics…
Now that I am gone and most likely never living at home again, my parents are selling and moving to a smaller place…55+ area…actually, they signed the contract last week…so the house is now officially for sale. Since the new place will not be finished until Dec. 05, they are not in a rush to sell, so they can be firm with the price…
I have another 2.5 years in MI and I don’t want to stay here after I finish school so I am not looking to buy, just lease…in normal economies it would pay to buy and resell after 3 years but MI area is terrible and unemployement is high, I might get stuck with the place, not what I want to do.
Oh, BTW, I hate house parties…too much to clean up! We rent hotel rooms…let someone else clean up!
Same deal here, I’m living at my parent’s beach house, but they live in Philadelphia (where I was raised). I’m about 30 minutes from school. It’s not a bad setup. I’ve put some money into this place, but mostly it’s upkeep. It’s a real pain with cost of utilities going up. Good news is that my parents will visit once every three months or so for about a weekend. My mom was very disappointed with having basic cable (i personally didn’t care, but whatever), so she had digital cable installed, and well now…I have HBO, Encore, Starz, Showtime, but not Skinmax (Cinemax). So, that’s all cool.
