Does anyone know whether opening the TR voids the warranty policy??

I’ve read the terms of the limited warranty, and they only mention that the warranty will not cover damages due to “tampering with the internal components.” There is no mention that simply opening up the case voids that warranty.

I’m locked in for the 3-yr policy, and do not want to void the warranty by attempting the BT upgrade. Anyone have any personal experience with this? Appreciate it, thanks.

I think just opening the TR will void your warranty. However, if you do need to send it in for repairs you could simply remove the BT module and then send it in. :idea:....they wouldn’t suspect anything that way.

the bt module isn’t meant to be a user installable or upgradeable part. there aren’t seals but if you damage something during the install..technically it voids your warranty because because you opened it up and it’s not their fault.
