Neet idea, not worth the money IMO.

12.1” = $ 1,499.99
7” = $ 1,099.99

You can purchase them at SonyStyle:

 

If they were about half that price I might consider it. I’d use it like I use my SmartPanel, but i’d actually be able to watch TV instead of just controlling it…

I keep getting inserts about it with my Sony Card statement every month. For the money they’re charging I could get a couple of LCD TVs and carry my TR around from room to room to surf the net wirelessly.

LOL..  resurected tablet PC.

Neat idea for media. The web and email is kind of a joke IMO. The speakers look like a step up from the TR…

Notice it has it’s own base station, wonder if it works with the Sony media server.

Not impressed. I like the idea, but I’m not thrilled with the price or implementation.

I did buy the MZ-NH1 MiniDisc recorder/player after seeing it in a Sony Card statement insert, but I’m not as excited about this and the VAIO Pocket. I think that the idea is a nifty one, but is held back by the Sony price premium.
